NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF C2006 BUCKLE STREET, HONEYBOURNE, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF C2006 BUCKLE STREET, HONEYBOURNE, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

Reason for restriction: Burst water main. There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road. There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with C2009 Sheenhill Road to its junction with Stephenson Way (NSG Ref 45405352).

2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days; however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 6 days (24hrs) commencing 1 May 2025.

3. Alternative routes: C2006 Buckle Street (part), C2114 Blakes Hill, C2114 Arrow Lane, B4085 Cleeve Road, B4085 Birmingham Road, B4035 Bretforton Road, B4035 Shop Lane, B4035 Weston Road into Gloucestershire, C2006 Weston Road, C2006 Station Road and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

C2009 Blacksmiths Lane, B4085 Cleeve Road, C2114 Arrow Lane, C2114 Blakes Hill and vice versa.

  1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with C2274 Mickleton Road to its junction with U45013 Grove Avenue.
  2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 5 days (24hrs) commencing 10 March 2025
  3. Alternative routes: – C2049 Stratford Road (part), C2006 Station Road, C2006 Buckle Street, C2114 Pebworth Road, C2114 Front Street, C2114 Chapel Road, C2049 Stratford Road (part) and vice versa.

PUBLIC NOTICE              

 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(2) (as amended)

 WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

Notice of closure of Footpath HY-540(part) Honeybourne, Worcestershire (“the highway”).

It appears to Worcestershire County Council that due to building work on adjoining house, there is a need to close the highway in the following terms: –

  1. The effect of the Notice is that no person shall proceed along Footpath HY-540, Honeybourne between grid ref: 411477.4, 243729.25 China Corner and grid ref: 411526.22, 243705.07 Fallow Field.
  2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days (unless further provision is made for its continuance). It is anticipated that it will remain in force for 5 days commencing 22 July 2024.
  • The alternative route is: U45044 China Corner, C2049 High Street, U45016 Brick Walk, Footpaths HY-547, HY-544 and HY-543 in Honeybourne and vice versa.
